Have you ever been bursting with excitement about your new project, only to rush to tell a loved one and then found yourself defending it, or worse still, deflated and pulling the plug due to their ‘lack of support’. Well, me too… that’s when I realised I would simply stop sharing what I was ‘doing’ until it was so strong in it’s foundation it couldnt be ‘blown’ over 🙂
Watch this on YouTube.

I talk about why I stopped sharing my ideas with family and close friends in those early stages of a project. It’s not because I don’t love them, but because their feedback, even when it’s well-meaning, used to shake my confidence before I’d even had a chance to get started

Over time, I realised some ideas just need time to grow strong before we open them up to outside opinions. Especially when those opinions come from people who haven’t done what you’re trying to do. I believe it’s super important to make sure the people you listen to have ‘done or experienced the thing’.

So if you’re quietly building something or holding onto a new idea, this clip is for you.

I share more in the full episode over on my Episode 60 in my podcast.
